    Is it helpful to use 8GB memory for m11x R1?

    One of my friend wanna sell two pieces of 4GB DDR3 1333 memory at a low price to me. but i'm not sure they will useful to enhance M11x's performance. Any suggestions?

    It'll only help if you use Vmware or something that specifically uses a lot of ram. Normal computing (gaming, word processing, firefox, etc.) does not use anywhere near 8gb.

    What about for Emulation ie dolphin - I'm finding this emulator is running very slowly on my i7 with 4GB

    I've never used Dolphin so couldn't say. Play on it for awhile, open task manager, and tell us how much ram it uses. Unless it's like close to 3gb or more being used by Dolphin, more than 4gb isn't going to help.
