    Just got off the fone with dell, henge issue related(new screens)

    I apologize if this was said before but they said that they were going to have new screens on m11x to drastically reduce the henge issue. They also said they know it's a problem on their part. I also read around here that they would cover this specific problem even after your warranty is up(mine is up After 24 days), i asked and they said that they would.

    That sucks to hear. So the new screens will only reduce the issue and not get rid of it completely? That's utter bs and they really need to own up to this error.

    chris-m says dell has acknowledged the problem and they're doing hinge replacements.

    Fingers crossed they're using a completely new design that's much stronger than the last one.

    Guess someone has to receive the new hinge then do a tear-down for us to know.
