This problem started happening the other night.

I'm a fast typist (90-100 words per minute), and I noticed that recently when I am typing full pace the keyboard will start missing keystrokes. Is this a hardware issue that alienware should be fixing, or is the keyboard just not up to typing speeds like that?

    Thanks!

Dell tech support totally fixed this issue for me. I have an Alienware M17 - last month the keystrokes started missing. Totally random and in every application in which you would type. Also changed day to day. Some days it would work fine, some days it would skip. Incredibly annoying!

It was a simple bios update that solved my problem! Turns out my bios hadnt been updated for a year. Update the bios and you should be good to go!

You've had yours long enough and presumably have been typing at that speed without any problems up to this point, right? If this just started typing then something's wrong. Ring up support and have them send you another keyboard.
