Hey all, I was trying to figure out the latest drivers for the R1. I am aware of the m11x R1 260.99 Hybrid Drivers + Intel 2020 thread, but was curious, before I try anything that complicated (I'm not much of techie), which are the latest drivers that work solidly, and where I could find them. I've heard mentioned the 260.89, 258.96, 259.47, and 258.96/2020. I'm also not exactly sure how hybrid drivers work, and how to install them. I've been reading through tons of threads since I've gotten mine and have not found anything authoritative. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The latest official release from Dell is 197.72 found here.

Depending on the games you play, you might be able to get away with them. So, you're either stuck with relatively old drivers or have to follow the thread that you mentioned. If battery life doesn't matter to you, you can also enable discrete only and run a more recent driver. I'm no expert though as I'm an R2 owner.

The modified Hybrid drivers work fine, just follow the instructions. Otherwise you will be stuck on 197.72 as in the above thread

Philby, they work .. but you have to sacrifice normal functionality. There is a thread I created on this first page that has a link to several ways you can go about this.
