Im looking at the M11x, both for its prettyfulness, and the specs. Im looking to indulge in some mobile gaming as the weather is nice, and I spend a lot of time on trains for work.

Im not sure what R the model Im looking at is, but its got the 355 and a SU73000 CPU.

Whats the consensus on this model? Is it prone to burning down houses and crashing more than a drunk driver? Will it run SC2/ME2 to a decent standard?

that means the R1 you're looking at. from all reviews it should be able to play mass effect 2 fine.

Ya it will run both games listed very well. Maxed settings I would guess.

    The M11x R1 (SU7300, 335M GT) will run:

    ME2 - High settings, good framerates (30+)
SC2 - Medium settings, odd setting on low (30+)

If you take a look around this forum, there's a SC2 settings topic.

An R3 is a lot better if you can afford it! Choose wisely, as the R3 is not too much more expensive and can pack a lot more power. My old desktop sometimes had problems with Mass Effect 2 so good luck with an R1!
