    The battery in my R1 has finally died and I'm looking for a replacement for less than $150, any suggestions?

    Better to buy a Dell OEM battery.

    There currently are no aftermarket batteries for the m11x/m14x (same battery)
    Your best bet is to buy from dell.

    There are a few on ebay listed a refurbs, but they are selling them for more than dell sells a new one for.
