The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    M11-X r2 issues after new SSD install

    I have searched the board and google and it looks like a few people had this problem with r1, but can't find any r2's.

    I installed Windows 7 x64 Pro on a new SSD and everything works but the video card. Actually it works, but when I go to the control panel and access the Nvidia app I get; "You are not currently using a display attached to a NIVIDA GPU".

    I have installed the dell beta drive (R273362). Is there something I am missing? I am forced to run at 1024 x 768 on Standard VGA Graphics.

    Never mind, i'm an idiot. It helps to install the actual Intel drivers...ugh
