    M11X R1 Fan Control

    Hi everyone. My R1 fans behave erratically. When I'm on integrated graphics, everything seems fine, but when I switch to Nvidia graphics it seems the fan will start spinning off and on whenever it feels like it for no reason. My temps always remain low and always in the 30s or low 40s C and yet the fan decides to spin fast enough to be audibly annoying. It spins for a few seconds, then stops, and starts again at random. It's almost as if the fan speed is set by a timer and not by temperature triggers because my computer remains at idle with low temps when this randomly occurs. I am on the latest BIOS and I tried that procedure for resetting the fan controls posted somewhere on the Dell forums, but my fan still acts weird.

    I tried HWinfo and it works good, but I would like to ask if anyone using this app can recommend for me proper values to enter in the custom fan control section.
