Hello, is there a way to upgrade the drivers for the gma 4500hd? I am having issues trying to run a few games since they only detect 64 mb plus color corruption and games dont take the entire screen. To top it all off I am only able to run PES 2010 on 800x600 top.

By the way, I tried using windows update to install graphics drivers and it managed to installa a hybrid solution:
    16/03/2010
    8.17.11.9712

Is it the same one that comes with the retail install?

Finally, to make it clear, if you switch to internal graphics and wait for 15 minutes the discrete graphics stop using energy.

    Thanks in advance,
    Matias

I would also like to get an updated intel driver.

Currently, I'm having some problems with DXVA playback....switching to nvidia solves it, but would like to use intel.

Hopefully the new driver Brian has signed off includes it...

Might be your only hope if the M11xR1 gets updated Intel drivers with this next release (Hopefully out in the next few days). I have been working on trying to get newest Intel drivers working on older Hybrid Graphics notebooks for months now with no success (at least on my Vaio Z). Believe it or not your M11x has the last version I have been able to get working on older HG notebooks (ver 1994).

It probably won't as the Intel uses a special DXVA mode.

Oh well, it's not that important. The awesome thing is I can switch to the Nvidia whenever I want.

The non beta uses 1994, which is more recent by date than 1892.
