I got a refurbished unit from the Dell Outlet recently. BIOS was indicating that bluetooth was installed but I couldn't activate it from within the OS. I opened it up to find a broken-off bluetooth module (they left the screw in and just tore out the module!) I've never seen such poor tech work. Anybody else's board look the same?

wow, i got my machine from the outlet. It was a previously ordered new machine...so im thinking they didnt have to open it up and fix anything. I havent tested my BT yet, but dam...this makes me worried.
My first outlet machine (M1730) arrived dead as a door nail....my 2nd machine (L701x, XPS 17") the motherboard went on it in less than 2 weeks. Its almost seems like they just turn it on and if it boots into windows, they throw it in a box and call it a day. -
I would soooo call Dell and have them replace that!
Imagine, if they treated the card like that who knows how they treat the actual laptop. I would demand a replacement. That's beyond unacceptable and it just shows that they don't care much about their rep.
It's not even like the card was missing, they just broke it off... And that is not something that happens by accident.
