    Hey, me again.

One more question before I decide to buy an i7 R2. I've decided if I do get it, I'll get the extended warranty. So while any hinge issues will surely drive me bonkers in the future, at least the fixes won't come out of my pocket.

What I wanted to ask was if the low voltage i7 in the R2 is good for mmo's in general? I learned recently that most mmo's are cpu dependent?

I know different mmo's will have different specs and what not, so I guess I'm asking a pretty general question.

Upcoming games I'm hoping to play are Tera, DC Universe, the Secret World, maybe the Warhammer 40k mmo. If those examples help any.

Thanks for the advice again. It's nice to know there is a forum like this where people got your back.

This screenshot was taken when I had my M11x. Keep in mind that my settings are all minimum and I have maybe 1 addon. Addons are the main cause of FPS drops on "up to date" machines.

But I would say that the i7 is pushing its limits when it comes to MMO's.

    Depends. My experience is..

DDO - run on ultimate settings, great everywhere but slows to 20fps in pasrts of main city. CPU not taxed that much.

LOTO - run on ultimate settings, works really well, Again CPU not taxed that much.

WOW - runs great in single player, but the CPU has to work hard. It is only one of these three that I have issues with.
