I installed the latest modded drivers and have added Camelot.exe to the nVidia driver control panel and changed it to High Performance.

But if I alt+tab out of the game and look at nVidia monitor it says no programs are using the GPU. Is that because I am windowed out of the game? Or is it using my integrated graphics.

The reason I think this might be the case, is because Camelot.exe is not the actual file of the game, the game runs as "Game.dll" under the processes so I feel like this could be throwing off the drivers.

The game doesn't play nearly as smooth as it should for a game thats old as dirt technically.

    Well,

I got the Geforce to initialize and play the game butter smooth...

IF I set the global setting in the nVidia control panel to High Performance. Isn't that going to kill my battery life if I dont change it back to auto or integrated when i'm done?

@snoodge - it may lower battery leaving global enabled. I am a R1 guy so I am just throwing a guess here. You can always switch it back quickly.

I am sure there is a thread here somewhere that talks about global performance impact on battery.

    Best Wishes, StevenX

The only issue is to change auto select in the optimus mode to Gforce 335M.

Have you tried right-clicking the exe > run with graphics processor > high performance?
