    The components may soon be available in the market but i doubt DELL will refresh the M11x anytime soon. An i7 update would provide a huge performance boost which would probably result in a lot of angry early adopters. I'll be sticking to my original plan of actively using this model for 2 yrs before buying whatever insane update they'll have by then. :D

    Things are always developing at AW. I was waiting for the Core-I cpu for the M17x R2, than that came out and now I'm waiting for 5870 GPUS. Sometimes waiting isn't the best thing. I've missed out on over 4 months of gaming. Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and accept that what ever you get will be out dated soon. Thats why I always invest in the warranty.

    that's why you choose your waits carefully. A more powerful processor that consumes less power is worth waiting. Improved screen or incremental GPU upgrade...meh

    Agreed, but the one thing to understand as that whe you pre-order the new system, the newer system is already in the works and on the drawing boards. GPU/CPU, all of it.
