i have a razer mat, use it all the time. my screen does lift up a bit near the front 1-2 mm tops , i dont worry too much as my carrycase has foam inserts that loop over the front of the lower half of the unit to hold it in and these seem huge in comparision, i also love not having to clean the keyboard marks everytime i open the screen.

though i would of thought just opening the laptop screen would generate more stress on the hinges than this peice of foam would ever do.

    Base Wisdom Co., Ltd.

Its a java based website so I can't link directly to the mouse pad but just click on Products --> Mouse Pad

The place seems like a bulk seller to retail stores but I sent an email asking about individual purchase.
If not I might have to buy 100 and sell it to you guys =p

To heck with the mouse pad. My M11x would look great with one of those toilet seat covers!

So the .6mm mousepad's came in and they're thin but not thin enough =\ I'll post pics whenever I can steal someone's camera. It looks a lot better than the Kabuto's though, its from the ~key to 0 wide, and esc to F9 long, .6mm thick. Plus its got a super soft microfiber side, very flexible and has a very good grip on my wooden table.

So yeah... lol pics when I can =]

e;\ took a video with my ipod, hoping the quality is good, putting it up on youtube best I can do for now.

Quite a few people here have gone with the RadTech ScreenSavrz. They're .6mm and a new one for the MacBook Air is .5mm thick. They do custom sizes too. Ordering one tomorrow since I just got my LCD assembly replaced due to permanent scratches from the keys.

I got the universal size - 27x11cm. It's the proper width for the keyboard and will cover from the hinge to the leading edge of the keyboard. Perfect as that's all that needs protecting. The bumpers will take care of the rest. Should have it later in the week and can give more feedback then.

Google for RadTech coupon codes if you ever buy anything from them.

Where did you find out about the .5mm thick one? I'd like to investigate.

It's for the MacBook Air. If I recall correctly the dimensions didn't work out for the M11x, but I could be wrong about that. Call them up and ask if they'll do a custom size for you. My .6mm universal hasn't arrived yet.
