I always liked using the laptopvideo2go drivers because they allowed for custom resolutions but I can't use them with the M11x. The button to add custom resolutions on the Dell drivers is greyed out.

Does anyone know a way to add custom resolutions on the M11x?

Its better to get them from Alienware, there is a fourm thread in laptopvideo2go.com where you can a customized driver to either run off the nvidia gpu or the hybrid sli etc.. it worked fine on my vaio Z but better to just use the beta dell driver. What do you mean by customized resolutions?

Actually, I find that I can get custom resolutions (like 960x540) using the Dell beta drivers and editing the INF file, but now I need to find out how to get custom resolution son the intel drivers which looks like is going to be a pain.

From what I can see, it looks like I'm going to need DTD timing settings.
Not fun I'll tell you that.

    I want to add 854x480 and 960x540.
The M11x is a great system for gaming, but it can't play every game at maximum res.

I need DTDs for the Intel card.
Right now, I can't run those resolutions unless I disable the Intel card because I think both video cards need to be able to do the res.

Anybody with DTD settings for those modes?
