I couldn't get it to work. Is that expected? HDMI out via the 335m works fine.

Also, when resuming from hibernation, after logging in the laptop will instantly go to sleep and require logging in again.

I'm pretty sure the HDMI is part of the 335m, as a result it must be enabled to get it to work. VGA work fine though.

Makes sense; I'm an idiot for not realizing it sooner.

    Thanks.

With the R2 having Optimus, is HDMI still only working with the 335M? As far as I understand, there should be nothing preventing HDMI output from the Intel GMA 500 now.

HDMI is fine with whatever on the r2.
