When I put in my service tag it shows up with the following for memory.
2 H299F Dual In-Line Memory Module, 2GB1067MHZ, 256X64, 8K, 200
Are the modules 1066? but the M11x can only run at 800Mhz correct?
Just wondering if I can pull these out and buy some 800Mhz and put the 1066 ram in another laptop.

It's true. Below is a pic that shows the proof. Screen shot from my M11x
Max speed = 8GB G.Skill 1333MHz
Operating Freq = 800 MHz
Assuming the RAM in the other laptop is also DDR3 204pin modules, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Assumming the other laptop can run the RAM at 800MHz, than it shouldn't be a problem. If it can't, then it's pointless to switch the modules. -
The A03 Bios release notes mentions that this has been fixed and it should now run at 1066 when it's overclocked. Has anyone verified this?

I am probably missing it, but in the upper left window it says "U7300 @ 1.3".
Thats not overclocked is it? and where does it show the 1066/800? -
The core speed is where you want to look. It's at 1600.0mhz, probably a false reading from the software. More than likely it runs at 1.73ghz though to this day, it's still unconfirmed.
DRAM frequency is 400.0mhz. -
so isn't Dram freq of 400, crap?
