When I put in my service tag it shows up with the following for memory.

    2 H299F Dual In-Line Memory Module, 2GB1067MHZ, 256X64, 8K, 200

Are the modules 1066? but the M11x can only run at 800Mhz correct?

Just wondering if I can pull these out and buy some 800Mhz and put the 1066 ram in another laptop.

It's true. Below is a pic that shows the proof. Screen shot from my M11x

    Max speed = 8GB G.Skill 1333MHz

    Operating Freq = 800 MHz

Assuming the RAM in the other laptop is also DDR3 204pin modules, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Assumming the other laptop can run the RAM at 800MHz, than it shouldn't be a problem. If it can't, then it's pointless to switch the modules.

The A03 Bios release notes mentions that this has been fixed and it should now run at 1066 when it's overclocked. Has anyone verified this?

Yea, I'm not sure what they were talking about when they said it would operate at 1066, because it doesn't I just flashed the A03 to test. Below are the results

I am probably missing it, but in the upper left window it says "U7300 @ 1.3".
Thats not overclocked is it? and where does it show the 1066/800?

The core speed is where you want to look. It's at 1600.0mhz, probably a false reading from the software. More than likely it runs at 1.73ghz though to this day, it's still unconfirmed.

    DRAM frequency is 400.0mhz.
