    dunno.

Yeah. The R1 doesn't need whitelisting. But that also raises the question: did you remember to switch it on? I've forgotten that and felt like a dummy.

No, its just not working ok on r1. Cpu is a bottleneck here. Entered first room with big amount of water and fps is about 15-20...

lower the resolution...that might keep it above 20fps.

Maybe I´m the only one, but with my m11x I always start with lower settings first, then rise them to see how the game runs...

Well, I don´t do that in games I know they run fin at some settings already, but new games, I do that...

Shadows, in any game, drain a lot of CPU power, put shadows to low or off, and I bet you get the game to run perfect with the rest of the settings like you have them...

Like you said, the CPU is a bottleneck not just in the R1, even in the R3 the power is not that much (well, to have all setting to high and expect 60fps or more)

Well i prefer to have lags or leave game for better pc then play on low settings :)

For me, playing on low settings is like watching cam rip instead of blu ray version.

Then why make a topic about it? When the logical question is lower the settings, not to all low, but lower them a little bit here and there...

The m11x is a great machine, but don´t act like "I´m want all my games at high settings even if they play at 10fps"

I would rather have a cam rip of a movie, than a slideshow of HD pictures, just saying...

    Shadows are almost exclusively GPU-based.

    hmmm....on the R2:

720p with most settings medium and high, no v-sync, dof and high textures it goes between 25-30fps.

EDIT: depth of field on or off makes no difference to the fps.

Wow guys, you need to chill out. Vorob is only trying to compare his results to other R1 users. Keyword being R1.

    R2/R3 need not apply.

Sorry Vorob I dont have hydrophobia, or I would post my results on my R1

Sorry to sound like a jerk but we are on page 2 and all I see is R2/R3 owners giving un-needed comments and advice.(whitelisting on a R1?)

Darn, this looked cool. I have an R1...but I can live with ~20fps on Crysis 1 so maybe I can try it! Is there a demo?

I did 1366x768, all medium, except shadows low, and in general 25-30fps.

    CPU @ 1.73GHz mod, GPU @ 590/1390/840

    Actually doesn't look too bad.

what's annoying is that steam is showing the game as unavailable.

Must be an issue with Australia because it's available fine here. Hopefully they fix it. I bought when it was on sale for what, $8? Definitely worth $8 so far. Nothing real fancy or too original, but so far better than your regular shooter.
