    Hey guys,

Just recently dug out my M11x R1 and had it reformatted after installing a Vertex 3 and 8GB RAM subsequently losing all my stuff! I've managed to get back everything I need and had installed before minus one vital program - AlienFX Lite. It's a Java-based application used to manage the AlienFX lighting on the device, I much prefer it to Command Centre - to such as an extent as to refuse to use it / have it installed on my machine - for no reason other than the fact that it's a bulky, resource-stealing piece o' poo.

I've had a look about and all the download links I could find were old and dead! So here I am, first time posting here asking for your help! If anyone has a copy of AlienFX Lite they'd like to re-upload and offer as a download for me that'd be very much appreciated! :)

    Thanks everyone,

    Kev.

    Hey buddy,

Thanks for that! So, this 'PyAlienFX' works with Windows 7, right? I think I looked at it before but kind of glazed over it 'cause I figured it to be a Linux-only package.

When I saw the reviews for the AlienFx Lite I thought you were using Linux. According to the webpage it seems to be for Linux only :(

    Hi again,

PyAlienFX still interests me as it seems to be my option as far as an alternative to installed the full-blown CC suite. Would it be possible to install on a Windows-based machine, I wonder?
