Did Alienware or Dell fix the issue on R1 where the fan will constantly come on at full speed even at idle running integrated gpu. The fan noise itself doesn't bother most R1 users but i believe what bothers them the most is when they are running it on battery and if the fan stays on or comes on at any given time will decrease battery life.

Yes - have you flashed to A05 Bios yet, if not then flash to this bios.

Is that actually a problem? I'm on the 04 bios and I figured that was normal to keep the IGP/discrete cool.

Now its cold in moscow so i see that everything is ok, on intel gpu fan is off for most of time. Is i switch from intel to nvidia and then back still all is ok, fan will go off in some time.

Even on nvidia fan is off sometime when there is no huge load.

The Rabbit (with _TWO_ carrots!) is correct.

Haven't had a problem with the fan after loading BIOS A05.

On another point, battery charging is still re-enabled when you disable it in BIOS A05.
