Has anybody found out a way to lower the fan speed manually with some sort of program? I love my m11x but im having a hard time playing in class and even the library with the 335m activated because the fan gets loud and high pitched, is there nothing I can do about this? Would a cooling pad help or am I just screwed? I am on a R1 btw and I notice the fan mostly on intensive games like Sc2. Btw yes I know it sounds dumb playing in class but when you have boring classes what else am I supposed to do haha. And I know messing with this kind of thing is dangerous but is there anyway I can raise the temperature limit where the fan comes on?

Probably the quickest and cheapest thing you could do would be to stick something under the laptop (at both back corners) when you are using it (two rubbers / erasers might be an option). This would allow for more air to run under the laptop potentially reducing temperatures.

Also make sure you are running the latest A05 bios, this fixed the issue where the fan would stay on for too long after you switch back to the integrated graphics.
