Hi, my M11x R1 is doing weird stuff.

If I try to start it up in the normal mode (not safe mode) it shows the red Alienware background (not the alien head when it's booting), but it doesn't shows the user(s), and on/off buton. Instead, it's processing something (there's the little circle next to the mouse pointer), and flickers from black to that screen, like a strobe light.

I can get it working using safe mode, but does anyone know whats the matter? I haven't done anything unusual before it acted like this..

    Thomas,

Try booting into Safe Mode. Uninstall your display driver, reboot and reinstall the display driver. See if that resolves the issue.

    Didn't work BatBoy.

I guess it's just a weird error/virus, I'm going to buy a external DVD drive to reinstall it.. Luckily I was able to copy some important files to an external DVD drive in safe mode.
