I just installed Windows 8 Professional 64-Bit and Windows installed pretty much all of the drivers. Still, I am vexed with the video driver. Can some please offer some assistance?

    Thank you

Thinking of doing the Windows 8 jump on my M11x R1.

I would be interested if anybody has tried the above tip?
Or has any other experience with the FX drivers on Windows 8 with the R1?
Do the hybrid drivers that are sitting on Dell's website still work with Windows 8?

That link goes to the M11X R3 thread. Sorry if this is a dumb question but can these R3 drivers be installed in a R1? I have been thinking of doing a clean install with Win 8 on my 11 R1, but reading what steveninspokane said about the video driver not taking, I am not hesitant. Plus there is no way I would try the link that Aerotype as that is too involved for me.
