I tried contacting Dell - no longer supports m11x r2 - so they pointed me to Ztronics. They don't appear to have any parts for the laptop.

I am shying away from 3rd party battery parts, so I'm wondering if you guys can point me to some reputable sites/ sellers so I can purchase a new/ working battery & charger.

I bought one from a third party and it was marked as new but when it came it looked like an old tired battery and it lasted about a month until it wouldn't hold a charge anymore.

So anyways i complained about it and had to pay the postage to get another supposedly new battery sent out but when that arrived it looked like it had been thrown down the street so obviously not a new one. The 2nd battery i have now seems to hold a charge and lasts maybe 3 hours or so.

I ordered it from a UK company but i beleive it was shipped from china so i would be careful from where u buy from.

sorry i can't help you with a reputable place to buy one.

I know the feeling of not wanting to use the third party battery suppliers I have the same mistrust as you do. The bad thing about the M11x battery is the fact that it uses the same one as the M14x which was just discontinued this year and they won't provide a battery for the M14x either.

As much as I hate to say this it may be time to look at either a M13 or a np7338 what interested me about the np7338 was the battery in the back which they keep from one generation to the next.

About Getting a note book power supply you can pick up a multi voltage and tip one at your Walmart or Bestbuy store that will work.
