    Hey all,

Was wondering if anyone ran into this problem at all, picked up Singularity (off steam) last night - game plays perfectly on the M11x R2, all stock with the beta drivers from Dell. The odd issue is, even tho the volume of the system is all maxed - while playing the game - the sound takes a MASSIVE dive, it's sounds as if it was maybe 25%-30%. If i task switch back to windows, and play a music file or internet radio - it's loud and perfect. I haven't noticed this on anything else yet. The sound options in game are all maxed, and windows are maxed, I've tried everything i can think of.

    Ideas

check the ORANGE volume control in the notification area, not the white one. This has per app volume settings. for some reason singularity starts at like 20% volume, if you crank it up in there, it is fine. runs nice too.

Thanks much! That worked perfectly! Would have never though that there was 2 separate volume controls. I also just noticed, the game doesn't seem to offer an option for native res, the best i can get is 1280x768, no higher options.

    Game is great! :D

I played Singularity on my 360 and would call it the best FPS this year. I loved every second of it, don't spoil it for yourself by looking at videos or reading reviews, just go get it if you like shooters, especially ones in the vein of Half-life 2 or Bioshock (thinking mans shooter).

I played without knowing anything about it, and the surprises and just awesome events in the game left me blown away. The ending was also epic, and lets you end the game your way, with 3 possible endings.

I'd agree with Yoda, but it is very derivitave, if you've played Bioshock/halflife , dont expect ANYTHING new. It's like timeshift which took a ton from HL2 and was very generic, except it takes mroe from bioshock, which is fine, but it stay pretty ho-hum.

If you liek raven's games, you will like it, they specialized is very well made generic FPS titles, like scifi channel produced movies, except with nice production value.,
