I need to do this quick and dirty:

Download these files ( MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service) and place them in an empty flash drive.
    Unplug the A/C.
Take off the bottom cover and unplug the battery.
    Plug in the flash drive.
Hold the End key above the right arrow and plug in the A/C.
Wait until the computer automatically starts up without pressing the power button and let go of the end key.
Wait 10-15 minutes there will be a lot of beeping.
    The computer will automatically restart.

    Done.

Edit: ONLY DO THIS IF YOUR DEVICE IS BRICKED FROM A BAD BIOS FLASH!!! I am also not responsible if you make your bricked device turn into a lump of coal and poo

Not going to ask how you got hold of that info, as I am sure it wasn't all that easy. Very good info though. Thank you :)

Do you have to hold the end key for 10-15 minutes?... Or just hold it when you plug in the AC

Does this work on an R1, or are there other threads with the correct files elsewhere? I would like to flash the .95V BIOS, but don't want to have to call Dell if it bricks.

No, it does not work on the R1. You'll have to ask ajslay to be sure but the R1 recovery process involves the XPS 16(?) process. It's the files that are changed, the process should look the same. The .95v BIOS should be safe though, it's already tested by ajslay.
