Hi, I am a proud owner of an M11xR2, purchased late 2010 from dell, I upgraded the ram about 3 months into the purchase (Corsair 8gb) & have recently found that they are getting extremely hot, to the point where the laptop overheats & even BSOD's when playing even the least graphical-intensive games, i have now removed one of the sticks & have done a clean install, downloaded the latest drivers, cleaned out with compressed air, it still seems to be getting rather hot though, any suggestions on hat I can do to make it work like it used to?

I've never really overclocked the machine, so it shouldn't be that the components have run out of steam just yet (?)

    Many thanks in advance

    Symon

I'll also leave an article so you can figure out the Stop error code of the BSOD so you can troubleshoot it correctly. The article also includes troubleshooting steps for the most common errors.
