greetings NBR forum; first time poster here.

i recently bought an M11x R2 in Canada before returning to China where I am currently based out of. Long story short : something on the plane fried my HD, went to Dell China repair center; got a new one, but they installed Windows 7 32 bit in China since its all they had. My reinstall CD is faulty and does not work, so I ' found another version' of Windows 7 64 bit and re installed myself.

Been a months hastle between everything, but Ive finally got a running computer with all drivers EXCEPT for my Wifi.

I have been over and over threads, looking for advice; but cant find a solution.

I have checked through the Dell site, and apparently have a KVCX1 Card, Wireless, Half Mini-Card, DW1520 card.

Though any driver I download that supports this card will not install. I get this same message everytime : ' N

errr my post posted itself, will continue . . .

as I was saying, i get this message :

' No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed. '

Thing is, when I got my computer back with the Chinese Windows 7, my wifi was working - so i know its not a hardware problem.

any help i can get would be much appreciated - its been a month and i still dont have a functioning laptop - so far my first experience with dell / alienware has not been a good one.

    thanks.
