    Hi all,

I recently purchased and installed an Intel 320 120gb SSD. For some reason, the bottom left palm rest (where the hd is) gets really, really hot randomly even when I'm doing simple tasks such as web browsing. Have people had these issues with other SSDs? I was thinking the X25-M could've been a better choice for my m11x.

I thought SSDs were supposed to be significantly cooler than a traditional hds? I'm thinking of just reinstalling the seagate hd and using my ssd on my desktop. It's such a bummer cause this thing is freaking fast!

As far as I know the ram is under the left palm rest, not the hard drive. On the idea of the heat generated by SSD drives, I know nothing about it I have not gotten my hands on one to fiddle with it.
