    Hi All,

Trying to play Diablo 3 and says I have out-of-date drivers. I have the latest drivers from Dell but want to download the new Verde 296.10 from Nvidia. Game has been freezing and can't load cutscenes.

Any way I can bypass the Optimus drivers and get these new ones??

Please let me know asap I can't find what I need from searching the forums

Just go to Nvidia's site and download the 296.10 drivers from there. You can install over your existing Dell drivers.

I have the same M11x except for the 250gb hdd and I simply can't get Diablo III to run on an acceptable level. Hell breaks loose as soon as I use skills or encounter more than 4 mobs at the time.

I'm unsure if it's extreme fps drops or just lag but characters and mobs seems to teleport sometimes..

I've done everything I could think of to try and speed the pc up and I run it on all the lowest settings..

Any thoughts? : / Help appreciated..

As someone who has struggled to get D3 to run stably, I feel your pain. What ended up helping me was downclocking to 425 (I used MSI Afterburner). I also set my shadows to low, while keeping the other 2 graphics settings at high. I have had one freeze since doing this, and I have a feeling that's due to the game as tons of people are reporting freezes/lag/drops/bsod. Also, I'm not sure if it really helps or not, but I am running a cooler as well.

    Hope I helped!
