So, I have been looking around and this laptop seems like an absolute perfect fit for me.

It's small, affordable, good battery life, has those lights, and seems like it can play all the games I want.

I was looking to buy it with the i7 processor and 4GB RAM.

But I want to know if anyone can give me any insight into the performance of the games I want to be playing?

I mostly play Orange Box, KOTOR, Fallout 3, and Oblivion. Maybe a little CoD on the side.

Oblivion and Fallout are what worry me.

I would be ecstatic if I could run them at high(not ultra) settings with reduced tree and object view distances if necessary without lag (30+ FPS).

    Is this a realistic dream?

Oblivion and Fallout 3? You'll be very happy with this laptop then. :)

Fallout I can and do play maxed out on my R1. So assuming Optimus plays nice, you should pick one up.

Yes, all those games should play at max at native resolution.

I have the i5 r2 and the Orange Box / Fallout play perfect. I would imagine the others would as well.
