    M11x R3 BattleField 3?

    :confused: Well i have been thinking of buying a refurb off of ebay with highest of upgrades for the m11x. I have been doing some research and people claim they can only play at medium then others say they can play on high with no problem at around 40fps. Can you please help me out :)

    The M11x is not really a lappy for Battlefield 3 I tried it and it runs fine with nearly everything at low but realisticly this game requires more than a fast mid range card if you intend to game properly.

    Everything runs on it though so if BF3 is the only game you intend to play maybe look at the plain looking Clevo/Sager 11 inch gaming model with he 650M GT.

    I personally am playing Deus Ex, LoL, Torchlight 2 and Skyrim all at near max 1080p at very good frames.

    I agree, the 650m will give you around twice the performance a 540m would. If you want to have nice graphics with high performance for BF3 you need at least a 650m.

    With some OCing you may be able to play on medium at 40 fps. I tried it on my r1 with a 335m and while on caspian border on low at 1280x720 the gpu stayed under 85% load with no OC. (The cpu was the bottleneck)
