M11x R3 w/ dell 375 bluetooth. I have bluetooth speakers and a bluetooth headset that will connect fine but will not play the audio from the computer. They work fine on my m15x. Basically the audio manager does not recognize the bluetooth as an audio device and continues to use the internal speakers. Called Alienware and the girl on the phone was not helpful, had no idea how to fix it, and obviously no idea about computers. This has been a problem since the day the m11x arrived. My bluetooth mouse works fine though. Its just an audio issue. I have been on the broadcomm and dell website and updated the latest drivers. Anybody else having this problem??

You have to close and re-open the particular application to get system audio routed through it after connecting the headset. Also, the headset must be capable of A2DP. If you are using a standard phone headset, that is your problem.

Anyway, are you sure it uses the Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth adapter? I ask because the service manual shows one that looks exactly like the Dell Wireless 365 module used in the M11x r1 and r2 but a Dell Wireless 375 has a cable instead of a built-in connector.

The pics for the service manual dont display :( Ive been messing around with it a little more today. I figured out the bluetooth stays connected for 10 seconds or so and then drops the connection. This m11x has the 375 modem or at least thats what the device manager says it is. I have a newer motorola headset(standard phone headset that I was using with skype on my M15x) and a Jawbone Jambox(designed for a computer) that both support A2DP. I do a restart of the computer with one of them connected and the connection lasts about 10 seconds. When they are connected they are not recognized as an audio output device. I disabled the power management option for the bluetooth but still no luck. Any ideas?

I just received my M11x R3 yesterday and it appears that I am having the same problem. I am able to pair my Jambox speakers but cannot get audio out to the Jambox.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet?
