The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm doing my best to go though this forum and read news elsewhere, and I haven't heard a single thing about the i7-2657M being released. It would be nice - mostly because I think it would replace the top spec and the others might be $100 cheaper.

    It really feels like this option will make no difference what so ever for the M11x other than costing you more money. They offer an i5 and an i7 now, and that's fine.
