No worries, from the bios i have it set to 154 but even without the OC it ran easily. The game runs pretty easily and yea its on the highest.

Have you tried looking on notebookcheck.com?
-
I am not quite sure what you mean exactly ...but I did read the.m11x review and all games listed were mostly late 2011 games....I wanna know performance for 2013 games

These guys have a good database of how many FPS's you should be getting on some games, even BF3 is listed there. Here is the link:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M - NotebookCheck.net Tech -
This is what I was referring to ....the database talks.About late 2011 and.before ..I wanna know if any of the users have trIed the 2013 games

I hear you,
. It's kinda hard to get that.
-
I was hoping ...some of the users would have tried a few new ones .....which i know ....wouldnt work in most cases...but if only i could sneak in far cry3 ...crysis 3...most wanted and hitman ....it`ll keep me going for a year with the m11x ..i plan to purchase
-
Bioshock Infinite should work fluidly as I've played through it on the R1.
-
hmm i tried the new hitman demo thing, sniper challenge or something and it ran fine on my m11x. haven't tried the game itself as in full one. i do get some fps drops in SC2 heart of the swarm when i was doing campaign, only with a lot of units though, and on max everything.
Sorry thats as all the help i can provide, as none of the games are on my list game list... not really excited about them, might try hitman though. -
If you want me to try any games on my R2 let me know. I can get the FPS and everything
-
That definitely is helpful
If you can ever try crisis 3 ... it'll be aweSome

No worries just give me a day or two I have to get it from my friend
-
Sorry guys still trying to get Crysis
-
Some of those are even heavy for the current high-end GPU's; Far cry 3 needs some settings adjusted or a slight OC on the 680m, otherwise it runs at around 45-55 FPS, same with crysis 3. Most wanted on the other hand may be easier to get to work with better graphics, I think racing games are usually less graphic demanding (don't quote me on this).
-
Hitman Absolution worked beautifully on my r1.
-
Most wanted runs like a pig on my 680m Luis
Its deceptively demanding, arguably to the same level as far cry 3. I struggle to run it on ultra, but it could be due to the engine used for the game, even sim city maxes at around 30-40fps.
Far cry 3 runs at around 40fps for me on everything high/ultra i think, whatever nvidia experience recommends. -
Oh well, that's what happens when you comment on things you haven't tried :S! I'm downloading Most Wanted, hopefully I'll have some facts to talk about later today.
The rest of the games I already have them on my external drive, I'll see if I can borrow an M11x R2 next Tuesday and post some settings/results too.
Edit: Just tried Most Wanted, totally misjudged it. -
Thanks brother luis

Most wanted is an absolutely CPU demanding game.
As you can see here : Need for Speed Most Wanted 2: Elf CPUs im Test - Update mit Kernskalierung und Overclocking [Test der Woche] (german website, but good tests)
I think that the cpu might be the critical part of the laptop. The M11x R1 wont be able to get that game on your screen without laggs, the M11x R2 might need much oc, to get MW running smooth. Give it a try, the results will be interesting :hi2:
P.S: would be awesome if there was an m11x r4
-
I so wish they bring back the r4

Just an update for everyone I was unable to get crysis 3 and I sold my m11x r2 for a pretty good price. Sorry about that. I'm probably going to be getting the msi gx740 now
-
Thanks for updating and congratulations

I've moved from an M11x r2 (See Sig) to a W110ER with an QM3720 and a 650m. With the custom bios they can be overclocked pretty damn far. Crysis 3 plays around 45fps. Perhaps look at ones of those if you're after a smaller form factor.
-
Thanks It isn't the most highest end i got it for a pretty good price. And the W110ER is a beast. Also i'll just quikcly tell you some other FPS i was getting on the R2. On GTA 4 when I pressed the auto optimize button i'd get like 15-20 FPS after putting the settings lower it was playable and by disabling intel turbo from the bios (or something like that, someone posted it in the forums). Also when playing need for speed hot pursuit i'd get about 25-30 FPS.
