I play BF:BC2 and so I had to install the 189.88 driver. I am now able to play the game online which I am happy about. sadly I am not able to play the other game I love. L4d1 and 2. It feels like there is a layer of jelly between me and the computer. I have posted this in the 189.88 discussion but i think the discussion is dead, nobody says anything there. so I seek help from you, the reliable people of Notebook review to help someone play L4D w/o having to install new drivers
I add games to the white list but then they disappear. I set the card to only run on the nvidia card and it doesn't help

Well, lets start off with some basic questions, is it an r1 or an r2? and why do you have a 189.88? those arent even the latest dell stock drivers, How are you unable to play the games what does the game tell you what are you experiencing?
" I set the card to only run on the nvidia card and it doesn't help"?
You went into your BIOS and set it on discrete or am i missing something here? -
sorry for missing the important details, I am running 189.88 because it allows games with punkbuster to be played online. I am running the R2.

IIRC the driver you are using works well with BFBC2 and poorly with other games.
And the latest drivers that work well with other games work poorly with BFBC2.
Hopefully wiser people will chime in. -
so freaking annoying, why cant a driver work for more than 1 game, and now BFBC2 randomly slows down in game for like a minute at a time
