    Hey I would like to connect my M11x to the monitor i just got via an HDMI cable how will I be able to do it, Im running windows 7. I pressed windows key plus P and it says no projector detected. Do i need to install drivers or something?

    My m11x does not have an optical drive, so i cant use the cd that came with the monitor

    You did turn on the discreet graphics, right?

    The HDMI out only works when you are on the discrete Nvidia 335m.

    I dint have the 335m on, shortly after posting this I tried that out and it worked. Thanks for the help though
