There is a problem with my m11x r1. It works fine untill i start up a game. After the game has started it will work fine for about 30 seconds then the fan gets loud and after that i get a black screen but i can still hear the sound. What is wrong? I have tried a bunch of different drivers i dont know whats wrong with it....

Right now i have the latest nvidia driver

Did you try reverting back to the stock driver from Dell? Nvidia's drivers have issues with the Hybrid Alienware. I have also tried multiple drivers on my R1, only to have tons of issues, so I went back to Dells official driver and have had no problems since.

Also, are you overclocking your card any?

Sounds like a hardware issue, clean out your fan first off.

First of all, how long have you had your R1? Probably over several months since you have an R1. Anyway, it sounds like a GPU failure.
