Well right now I'm strongly debating wether I should the m11x r3 or the upcoming m14x r2. Some questions are

    1. Is the m11x r3 good for regular laptop use?

    2. Is it possible to just take out the 540m graphics card and fit something else in there or would that just destroy the system lol

    3. Can you overclock the system to have it run ANY GAME new or old at medium or high atleast 35fps and I'm talking about really new ones like syndicate or bf3

    4. After a good overclock how well can you run these games at high settings? --
Skyrim, Witcher 2, BF3, Just Cause 2, Syndicate

    5. Finally how well do you think this laptop will perform in the long run with more
and more graphically intense games. I will be keeping this laptop for 3 years and if it doesn't perform that great ill just wait for the m14x r2 with the new Radeon 7970m graphics card :D

    1) Yes, its great!

    2) Nope. Graphics card is soldered on to the motherboard.

    3) You can indeed overclock the system. I use MSI Afterburner and I've used DavyGT's (or someone like that) BIOS mod which cranks the GPU voltage up to 1V.

    4) I've ran Skyrim and Just Cause 2 on Max settings and I easily get 60FPS

    5) I think this laptop could last 3 years easily. After that, I'm probably going to install Arch Linux or Ubuntu on it and use it as a netbook :D

I play skyrim on high settings @1920x1080 on my 42" plasma via HDMI from my M11x R3 and i'm getting 35-60fps. Always playable, never drops down to unplayable levels. Stock clock, no overclocks and no throttlestop.
