Just pulled the trigger on a m11x r3. Took me a couple hours dealing with a sales rep and I think I got a decent deal. Got the base model with a core i7 which also includes a 2gb of memory for the gpu. This upgrade cost 150$ which normally cost 250$. I then got him to knock off an additional 50$. So it cost 1100 + tax which came to 1230$. Used my prepaid MasterCard which doubles the warranty to two years. You don't even need good credit to get one of these since they are prepaid(10$ initial fee). I was thinking about ordering from the USA since they generally have better deals so I am very glad to not have to deal with the border. Let me know what you think of this deal. I'm pretty satisfied.

Seems like a decent deal. What were the rest of your configured specs? HDD? RAM?

No upgrades from the base. 4gb memory, 320 gb harddive. What do you guys think about the hybrid drives? Are they worth it or should I just spring for a ssd?

I put a hybrid drive in mine and it was a good chunk faster than the stock one. However just as a test i tried putting in an SSD and the hybrid drive was left in the dust.
