Hey, am thinking of getting an m11x when the R3 comes out for the obviously awesome (or at least decent) gaming performance. Just wondering though how well it would play RS, and if anyone has tried on an R1/R2? Reason I ask being that the game is *heavily* cpu dependant (stupid java) and since the m11x has a ULV it might not be all that great.

Can anyone give us any info? TIA :)

Thanks :) but I wanted to know if someone had tried running it, the requirements are pretty misleading. My desktop with 2.6Ghz dual core (Pentium D though, so yeah it's lame), 9500GT and 2Gb of ram tops out at 40fps in simple model environments, and chokes down to 4-10 in even moderately populated areas. So yeah, has anyone actually tested?

java doesn't fully use your hardware, if it did, then you would be getting 100+ FPS. Just get a crappy IGP PC if you're just going to play Runescape. It's pretty fail if you're getting a Crysis level type of PC for playing Runescape. But your choice.

    Thanks! Looks good then :)

And @AlienOnions, to *just* play rs, yeah :p but dw, I plan to give it plenty of use elsewhere as well. I've got Call of Pripyat that I desperately want to get to, but my current comp's don't have anywhere near the power to do it justice. :(
