Wireless kept randomly disconnecting. then wireless would go jump to limited connection. i uninstalled wireless drivers and now after reinstalling the wireless 1520 drivers wireless adapter can't be enabled. windows says that there may be a driver problem. have no idea what else to do. last option is to call dell. Don't want to do a reformat if possible.

The above happens to me too sometimes when I am in coffee shops. I usually reboot and it gets fixed.

I reinstalled the drivers only once after I clean installed windows 7 when I purchased the system. I had windows once fail to enable the wireless adapter. It just vanished from the devices. After rebooting it all got fixed.

First thing you could try is to see if you can actually find the wireless adapter in your devices under the device manager. And you can also try enabling it and disabling it from the bios a couple of times, it might do the trick. Let us know how things look.

Dell couldn't figure it out(of course). Gotta reformat. registries are probably corrupted since system restore doesn't work either.
