    Hi everyone!

I have an annoying problem, but I'm sure it's an easy fix! so let me get straight to the point.

I have my screen dim after every 2 or 3 minutes (depending). But I have noticed that after it dims, it does not come back to the brightness before. So annoyingly, I have to increase the brightness manually (via fn + f4).

I am running the latest dell drivers.

If anyone has any idea, please let me know. If you need further clarification, I am more than willing to promptly respond.

Thanks in advance for all your kindness =)

I think that this issue is resolved by updating to the latest Intel HD drivers. It's been discussed here previously.

That is a bug in Command Center. Specifically Fusion. Either uninstall CC or disable the alienfusion service and let Windows manage your power saving options.

I tweaked command center settings and the issue was gone.

When my screen dims after x amount of minutes as defined in the power profile, the screen doesn't brighten back up to the set level when I tap a key or move the mouse or touchpad. Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks.

wingnut, I've merged your thread - see post #3 above. This is an issue with Command Center - I've tried to bypass it on my R1 using the Intel driver settings (will post those tomorow - not in front of my 11x at the moment). Some sucess using the Intel settings but to eliminate 100%, remove CC or disable fusion. Almost positive this is CC (specifically fusion) fighting with Intel. ;)

This is a known issue with people on this forum.

Go to Windows Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services. Find the "AlienFusion" service, and disable it.

    Your problem will go away.
