Please, is there any update to the fan issue that you posted back in the other topic a while ago?

From your response I would assume neither issue is fixed in A04. Question is, are there going to be fixes for these two issues?

It doesn't kick me 100% back to desktop, it seems like it refreshs for a split second to the desktop to show the OSD, and then goes back to the game.
But the problem is, when this happens, the game is no longer full screen and I see the X, maximize and minimize buttons while playing BFBC2.

Just annoting and now I really would like to shut off this OSD.

Not very happy with this new bios. When running my laptop in integrated the fan hardly ever comes on. With this new update it's coming on all the time. I have reverted back to A01. Very disappointing as the volume update was useful.

I am a bit concerned that I will be stuck with A01 for life with this laptop unless they put the fan control back to how it used to be.

I was able to get the setting to show up in my battery settings by doing the following:

    Run regedit and go to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Hybrid

    Edit "DisableSmartHybrid" to "0"

As usual, attempt this at your own risk. I am not responsible for you messing up your registry.

damn tech support installed A04 over A03 for me when I called to ask about some sleep/wake issues and now my fan is on constantly. A03 was a lot better on the fan idle.. which putting to sleep fixed the stuck fan. Now it seems my fan just wants to work 24/7.. how do I go back to A03?! I can't find my A03 installer =(

Having the same problem here, thankfully I haven't had any game freeze or crash because of this but it is a bit annoying.

I have been using the beta driver since it was released. I have had no issues, and I use HDMI all the time.
