    Hey guys,

I am the owner of a M11xR1 for almost a year, and ever since my fan bearings died and I had it replaced, I have had periodic "freezing" while using the video card (it is NOT overheating). This is best given in an example: I am playing League of Legends getting full FPS then suddenly, my audio starts looping, my FPS counter drops to 1, my latency spikes up past the maximum bar, for about 5 seconds, then normal gameplay resumes. This happens every 15-25 minutes, but I have not looked at the clock every time it happens so this is just an estimation. Second example: the Alienware technical support is running benchmarks to test my GPU. The gpu load ranges from 75-99% for the first three tests. On the fourth test, the clock speed and gpu load drops to zero for a few seconds, then goes back to 99. I have called Alienware tech support multiple times performing diagnostics for several hours each time and I have done the following:
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the video drivers to the latest on the dell support
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the video drivers to the beta drivers
    • Played 40 minutes of league of legends running CPUz and GPUz for the freeze to occur once
    • Ran Prime95 at full with no problems on the CPU
    • Ran the pre-assessment tool to scan all of the memory and cpu
However, here is the kicker; since it works 99% of the time DESPITE this being a periodic lockup, they are unwilling to accept that there is a problem so therefore will not service my computer. [insert rage here]. Alienware staff are knowledgeable and helpful but ...below is my GPUz log showing the problem:

Someone PLEASE help me. Also my warranty expires in 10 days which only makes the situation worse.

lol dude awesome graph, but anyway I would call them back and not take no for an answer. Keep asking to talk to the persons supervisor and try calling the American branch call center (They usually have more leeway than their Indian counter-parts)

Unfortunately it was the supervisor that deemed there was no problem with the computer and that it did not need repair or replacement =(. Do you have the number for the American branch center? I called 1-866-287-6727.
