I saw that a lot of people have been able to run this game fine. Most of the times it was on the R1.

I was wondering if any of the R2/i7 spec'ed m11x are having trouble even getting the game to open.

I installed CoH and when i go to run the game, i get a "Failed to find a supported hardware rendering device. Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements....blah blah..verify that DirectX is proper installed"

So far this is with the 258.68 driver with the modded .inf. Here is what i have tried so far. Run in admin mode. Tried all the different compatibility modes for windows, installed the older nvidia card drivers from the dell website, reinstalled the DirectX. I made sure to check the 335m was on. I went so far as to open a Steam game and then try to open CoH.

    Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem. What I had to do was go to cohpatch.relic.com and just download the latest patches. At some point you will be able to open the game with no problem. Just to warn you though, they are some big patches.
