I've had my m11x r2 for 2 years now and recently the 335gt card stopped working (tried a million things im pretty sure its just toast) and the battery charge is getting pretty weak, what's the best approach to fix these problems?

If anyone with experience can just give me a ballpark range of how much it would cost to replace the card I'd appreciate it. In general it still works fine I just want to give it a boost to its former glory. And I guess I could just buy a replacement battery so that's not a glaring problem, just wanna mainly fix the graphics. I will probably call dell up in the morning but I was hoping to get some advice from yall.

I tried to search but all that comes up are hinge issues lol.

GPU is integrated into the motherboard, as is the CPU. If it is indeed gone, you're looking at a motherboard replacement.

Mother board replacement is easy. I had mine apart last night just to repaste everything with ICD 24. If you buy the motherboard you can have it swapped out in 30 mins. That's taking your time insuring everything is done correctly.

That's correct spree, to replace your GPU means replacing the Mobo on an M11x. You can send us an email to [email protected] if you need assistance finding parts for your Alienware. I'll also leave the service manual so you have a guide if you intend to replace the Mobo yourself.
