    Metal Gear Solid 2 on m11x?

    ive been playing around with hex editing the .exe's and i cant get metal gear solid 2 to run on my m11x. has anyone had any luck with this?

    ... why would you need to try and edit EXE's to get Metal Gear Solid 2 to run on any PC?

    the game was really tily coded for PC so it only works radeon cards unless you hex edit the exe's but even that fix wasnt reliable.

    I'm a metal gear solid fan myself, why not run it on a desktop(actually ps2 or ps3 is the best choice)? Have you played this before? Or do you simply want to learn the story...

    Yeah aint it a emulation question.

    But from my understandig m11x is good enough for PS2 emulation? So mgs2 should work.


    I would personally play MGS3!

    I've tried running the PS2 emulator: PCSX2, and from my experience the m11x sadly just isn't up to the task.

    there was a PC version of mgs2 released, its a horrid port but i dont have any other option to play this game. ive played it before im just cravin to play it again

    Yeah I also have this game and have also been trying to get it to work. Just getting a black screen at the moment.

    have you been trying exe mods and that sort of stuff? at least im not alone in this xD

    Yeah, I did the hex edit, and have tried running it under all sorts of compatibility modes. Damn though because this game is the best. I'll keep searching for a solution.
