hey all, I decided to replay metro 2033 tonight and to my suprise I cant go 5 minutes in the game without having it freeze on me forcing me to ctrl+alt+delete out of it. I had no problem playing it before has anyone else had this problem?

Are you playing with the overclock in your sig?

I've found that Metro 2033 didn't handle GPU overclocking very well, at least for my R2. Mine would normally fully lock up or BSOD though, so it may be a different problem. Sometimes the Steam forums have some pretty handy tips to stop these kind of issues.

Yeah same here, any sort of OC and within ~5-10 mins it would BSOD. The first thing you should do is remove your GPU OC and then see if it still crashes.
