    My M11x R1 Power Up by itself from a complete shutdown

    Hey Alienwarers ,

    My M11x R1 started to act weird recently and I can't figure out the main cause.

    Sometimes it powers up from a complete shutdown or sleep or hibernate !!

    I have the latest A05 BIOS ,

    I also have a weird HDMI/WIFI conflict issue, when I watch something on the TV using the HDMI the wireless network becomes very slow or dead , I can't browse the internet. But there is no problem with the HDMI and the Ethernet.

    I appreciate any tip other than system recovery :)

    Stuck button
    Wake On Lan type of setting
    Auto Start in BIOS (never looked for it)
    -- edit: there is a USB based wake setting. Never tried it. <-- this could be it

    Thank you for the tip, but I have this USB Wake Support disabled all the time and no stuck button

    I had the same thing more or less happen to me- went to new orleans for new years eve and before the 6 hr trip I shut the m11x and it went to sleep. Fast forward 6 hrs and I pull my laptop bag out of the back of the car and its insanely hot to the touch (leather bag). My m11x had somehow woken up form sleep while tucked away in my laptop bag- it survived with no issues whatsoever most likely due to the heatsink mod which i had done a month earlier. Im still curious as to what caused it though, and as such I always completely power it down now.

    If I just close the lid on my R2 when not connected to mains power, she'll eventually power up and do a full shutdown by herself when battery power gets low. Think this is going from hibernate to "off" as the voltage gets sensed as being too low. Is this similar?

    Not seen this on M11x but some other systems I had to be VERY sure that hibernate or sleep was fully engaged before shutting lid (default profiles) or it would just freeze there... not fully on or off.
